Day 2 of potty training!

OK so I am in total disbief. Ty went all day with no accidents. He even took a nap in big boy underwear and woke up dry. Through the night last night Aubrey woke up around 2am so I took Ty to the bathroom and he went pee in his sleep and went back to bed and still woke up dry. I am so excited you have no idea. Today has been great no accidents....we even left the house went to Target and he told me he needed to go to the potty and so we ran and he went with no problem. I must say he loves the candy and even though it is temporary it is very perfect. He picked out new candy today to add to the mix. I still feel like this is a dream but I will take it anyday over big man poop.

Potty Training!

So I decided today, after many failed attempts, that today was going to be THE day to potty train. Yes, I know you think I am crazy. We are leaving to go on vacation for a week to Colorado to visit the in-laws and I am trying to change the world 3 days before we leave. I, being the crazy woman that I am, did this same thing when we were getting rid of the passy. We were going away for the weekend and I decided that it would be a great time to get rid of his favorite thing THE PASSY! So I did and we all made it and the passy was gone for good. I woke up today with the same mentality of I am done changing his stinky human poop! So I held up the bag of Halloween candy, that I have been hiding, and told Ty he could have a piece of candy EVERYTIME he went on the potty. To this very moment he was gone # 1 (9) times and #2 (1) time. I think he will have a tummy ache and my mom is convinced he will weigh 500 pounds but it is temporary and is working. Who would of thought. To top it off the little pipp can even get on the big boy potty all by himself. I am so shocked at his big boy self. I will keep you posted as things progress.

This is what I am talking about!

So I finnally got a hold of the manager at this picture place and told her about all the issues with our first shoot and she rescheduled us with no problem and gave us more pictures for free than we ordered to begin with! I was very pleased and we had a private photo shooting and we taken care of like we were royalty. I LOVE THESE! I can't believe how big they are!

Sisters

The bond of sisters is amazing. I love my sisters so much! Growing up was very interesting someone was always missing a piece of clothing or perfume or jewelry. We definetly had our times and fought like cats and dogs but as we are older we miss each other so much. We all live in different states from Arizona to Texas to Arkansas to North Carolina and Florida. We don't get to see each other as much as we would like to and as the holidays approach we miss each other more and more. My baby sister who is to the right of me who is in the middle is turning 24 on the 18th of this month. What happened to my baby sister? How did she continue to get older to? Mandy(the baby sister) in visiting me right now and I am thinking about holding her hostage because I don't want her to leave. I miss all of you gals and wish for Christmas we could be together laughing and crying. Know that there is not a day that goes by that I don't wake up thinking about you from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. My friend Jennifer in Colorado has all 3 of her sisters living in the same city as her and I tell her all the time how lucky she is but I don't think she really understands. Sisters get each other and love each other and hate each other all the the same time. One day when we all don't have teeth we will live in the same retirement community and play canasta all day long. LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Christmas Cuties!

It is hard believe that Christmas is already here. I am no a real fan of this picture for the story behind it is hard to imagine. I am in the process of trying to get some new photos taken. I know you must think I am crazy because they are cute they are just not what I wanted. I will tell you the story brace yourselves..... First I made an appointment and that is an act of God in itself. We went to the picture studio and were taken right back. We got the room set-up and the kids positioned and the camera caught on fire. No lie the camera caught on fire and started smoking the room up. We quickly exited and went outside waiting for them to prepare the next room. After about 30 minutes of waiting we got in the room and and started taking pictures and the camera starting acting up and it started deleting itself. NO lie! We left that room with a promise of 4 sheets of free pictures but that didn't sit to well. We waited about another 30 minutes and then got the next room set-up and by this time as you can imagine Ty and Aubrey were DONE! The lady taking the pictures was a little annoyed with Ty because his attention span was very little. I took the pictures with haste and it took 1 hour to get the order processed. I know the picture is cute but I wanted their Christmas outfits that my mom and dad got them to show and for you to be able to see the full cuteness. I have a call into this home office and wait patiently for a reply. I will give you an update as one unfolds.

They have become very close to us and we love that they lives next door. Kristen and I have started working out together at the neighborhood gym and the guys well they are just guys! Ty adores Kristen and calls her his girlfriend. I love where we love and I love having such cool neighbors to walk life with!

Happy 6th Anniversary!

It seems like yesterday......oh that is so cliche but it is so true. I married the most wonderful man 6 years ago and it is hard to believe that life has taken us all the places that we have experienced together. We have 2 amazing children now and hard to believe we are parents. It is amazing how different we are and somehow are able to love each other through those differences. We even each other out and compliment each others strengths and weaknesses. He is an amazing man on God and I am so greatful that he is the man I chose to spend the rest of my life with! I LOVE YOU RYAN! You have given me 6 wonderful years and I look forward to 60 more.

It was so nice to have all of us together to celebrate. It is amazing how large my family has gotten and will continue to get. I can completly understand why my mom had so many babies....you miss them. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for your amazing lives.

Trick or Treat

Kids are so much fun during holidays! This is the first year where Ty knows what is going on. He was so much fun. We practiced all day on saying trick or treat. He was so excited that Obedience was out the window all day long. We got the kids ready and rounded up our neighbors and off we went. Ty was Shrek, Aubrey was a lion , and our neighbor Brooke who Ty calls his girlfriend was Cinderella. Brooke was a little hesitant at first but Ty assured her that he would take care of her. They knocked and knocked and knocked and got tons of candy and lots of good laughs. We had a blast and then it took us about 2 hours to calm him and Aubrey down and get them in bed. The kids are so sweet and seeing them experience Halloween makes it so much fun for the parents. I hope you all are having as much fun as we are!

Taken me long enough!

I have been absorbed in life and children that this blog has been a last priority so I figured I should update everyone on life.

Since June: I took the kids to Florida by myself in the beginning of July and we all made it alive there and back. It was a very adventurous thing to do with a newborn. The kids had a blast and Ty loved the beach! At the end of July we went back to Florida for a surprise birthday party for my Grandpa who turned 80. We had a great time and this time Ryan came with me...Thank GOD! Then the end of August the kids and I flew to Houston, TX to visit my sister and her husband and daughter and had a blast. Ty and Abby(Steph's daughter) love each other so much. When one would cry the other would too! They had to hold hands and hug and kiss all the time. I really wish we lived closer to each other. Then I returned home to a busy world in the beginning of September to 2 events that I planned and hosted and a lingerie shower and a women's retreat about to take place. We all survived all the events to a great success. I will post some pictures of all the adventures. I hope that they capture the love I feel for all parties involved. Aubrey is 9 months now and is crawling and pulling up today she climbed up the stairs. SCARY! She will walk no doubt by Christmas! More updates tomorrow.

Ty is a "Prince"

Oh the summer is so much fun already! We have the cutest little neighbor that Ty met right after his first birthday and they are totally "in love". Her name is Brooke and she is so much fun! She is definetly the boss and keeps Ty on his feet. She calls Ty her "Prince" it is so cute. This is a little kiss they shared as they were eating their lollipops. Jennifer (Brooke's mom) got them those baby bottle lollipops with the sugar inside the bottle and I said "Great what are we going to do with this?" Jennifer said "We don't tell them there is something inside and they will never know." She is a genius. The kids have so much fun together and every night after they get home we are required to go outside. They are a trip. It is so nice to have such sweet neighbors to share life with. We love you Jennifer and Brooke!

Finally Did it

Well I finally did it! After much coaxing I have my own blog. I can't believe I am doing this. I can find no better way to keep up with all the people that I love. I will try to post a couple of times a week so make me a favorite and visit my blog often.
I can't believe how big the kids are getting. Aubrey is almost 5 months old already. How did this happen??? We are enjoying every minute. She is already trying to sit up all by herself and she is getting very good at it. As I am writing this my little boy is crying in his room for his Daddy. He is totally in love with Ryan these days! I love it! Ryan is finally seeing what it means to have someone "on you" 24-7. Ryan is enjoying Father's Day hitting balls at the golf course. As our kids get older and time goes by and Ryan and I both get a better grasp on parenthood I fall more in love with Ryan watching him with the kids. He is an amazing man and I am so thankful for him. Well.......This was my first blog entry hope you enjoy.
